Tom Lundquist has been involved in doing in-prison and reentry ministry with the Prison Fellowship Academy programs located in the Minnesota State prisons. For the past 9 years he has worked with the many individuals who come from a complex background of addiction, trauma and criminal involvement.

Tom Lundquist has been involved in doing in-prison and reentry ministry with the Prison Fellowship Academy programs located in the Minnesota State prisons. For the past 9 years he has worked with the many individuals who come from a complex background of addiction, trauma and criminal involvement.
Tom has a deep passion for transformation and change in the lives of the men we serve. He is a compassionate counselor, mentor and team builder who strives to create a community of faith that seeks to know Christ and to walk together with others who share this passion.
FOUNDER
After thirty years in the publishing business, Kent sold his company in the spring of 1999 and began volunteering full-time. In the fall of 2003 during a prayer retreat in Kansas City, he received a prophetic word about mentoring men in the 'inner city.'

After thirty years in the publishing business, Kent sold his company in the spring of 1999 and began volunteering full-time. In the fall of 2003 during a prayer retreat in Kansas City, he received a prophetic word about mentoring men in the 'inner city.'
Within four days of his return to Minneapolis, he received an invitation to teach the Alpha Course at the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in the 'inner-city' of Minneapolis. Two years later he and his wife Betty would form a non-profit, purchase a house and begin the work that has come to be called VERUS COMMUNITY.

He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Advisory Council.
