God’s strategy has always been to use those of us who seem to be the least qualified to accomplish his purposes, i.e.;

Those “in distress, in debt, and discontented gathered” to King David, became his mighty men and secured his reign. (2 Samuel 23)

Isaiah’s “oppressed, brokenhearted, captives and prisoners” become “oaks of righteousness” who go on “to build up, raise up and repair.” (Isaiah 61). Among early Christians there were “not many wise, not many powerful, not many noble,” yet these foolish ones shamed the wise, weak ones baffled the strong, have nots confounded the haves. (1 Corinthians 1)
